The Sum of All Wisdom begins with a simple idea: Music is the sum of all wisdom. Music and creative practice are not just forms of expression—they are ways of knowing.
Each conversation explores how artists and thinkers make meaning, navigate experience, and articulate insight in ways that often exceed language. These are not promotional interviews. They are spaces for reflection, deep listening, and the careful unfolding of a life’s work.
The result is something more than a podcast: We're building a growing body of conversations and writing that treats creative lives as sources of knowledge.
Episodes combine long-form conversation with close attention to process, identity, and creative insight. Each is paired with a written reflection that distills the conversation into broader questions about meaning, memory, and human experience.
If you’ve ever felt that music—or any creative work—understands something before you can explain it, this is a place to explore that feeling more deeply.
Many of the people drawn to this work are carrying something of their own:
· A body of experience.
· A story that hasn’t quite taken shape.
· A sense that there is something important to say—but not sure how to say it.
This work extends beyond the podcast.
Through a small number of engagements each year, I work with creative professionals, thinkers, cultural producers, and leaders to shape lived experience into lasting narrative—books, essays, and other forms of intellectual and creative work.
