Expert services to elevate your writing: Editing, ghostwriting, manuscript developing, publishing strategies.
Successful technical writing isn’t about inspiration, and it’s not just speech or behavior written down. Good technical writing comes from knowing the steps to take to structure information – including text and design – to achieve an intended purpose for a well-defined audience.
When you need targeted, compelling, and accessible content for legal, scientific, or technical purposes, look no further! I'm your partner for success: know your purpose, define your audience, craft and convey materials that speak clearly to your audience without losing legal or scientific integrity.
I have written or co-written hundreds of policies, procedures, manuals, technical instructions, webpages, white papers, legislative drafts, FOIA requests, and other materials for federal, state, local, and tribal agencies across the U.S. as well as industry, nonprofit firms, academic departments, and community-based organizations. I also have a robust background reviewing grants for Federal and state agencies, including DOJ, NSF, NIH, IRS, and others.
With more than 25 years of expertise, editing for more than 70 nonfiction and scholarly authors, I offer expert personalized services based on your needs.
From concept to publication, I provide exceptional editorial support for all purposes, from the most basic to well advanced: proofreading, copyediting, line editing, developmental editing, substantial revisions and rewrites. Whether your project is trade nonfiction, a scholarly book or article, a dissertation, an essay collection, periodical pieces, or technical writing, I'm your best bet.
No project is too small or too big. Work with me and you'll get close collaboration, a tailored approach, an excellent listener and coach, and assurance that my work will meet and exceed your expectations.
Many busy professionals have great ideas for a book, but little time to dedicate to writing, editing, and publishing. I offer comprehensive ghostwriting services for nonfiction and scholarly manuscripts.
I am trained as an ethnographer and lawyer, two specialties that excel at transforming personal experiences into exceptional stories that excite, educate, motivate, inspire. I have ghostwritten for over two dozen authors in multiple areas: law, science, policy, theology, business, and technology.
Let me help you take your idea from concept to publication.
Why consider a professional manuscript evaluation? While developmental editing can help with structure, voice, and themes, manuscript evaluation and development can provide a more in-depth analysis of what works and what can be strengthened for publication. I provide comprehensive support to authors at all stages of their writing process, including MS evel and development, whether a book, report, article, essay, policy manual, technical guide, business process architecture, or something else, I offer personalized guidance to get you from concept to a final draft that resonates with your audience, meets your publication goals, and brings your work to its fullest potential.
I have more than two decades working one-on-one with authors to to develop and execute their publishing strategy with trade and university presses in the U.S. and Europe. I'm eager to help you define your strategy and see it through to successful publication, whether for a nonfiction manuscript, your first (or tenth!) scholarly book, an article for an academic or trade journal, or an essay in a periodical, I'll guide you to getting your work from concept to marketplace.
