I'm a seasoned and highly skilled author and ghostwriter, specializing in culture, justice, travel, technology, policy, and business. My writing has appeared in Lonely Planet, BBC, Fodors, Lee Enterprises Group, many local newspapers, scholarly journals and encyclopedias, as well as five books either authored or ghostwritten. I’ve also been an audio journalist and syndicated broadcaster in the US, hosted Dragon Radio programming in Wales, and did a year-long stint as "Cultural Ambassador" on Radio Iasi in Romania. I understand cultural and language barriers and know how to get over them, whether that's between different nations or in cross-ways conversations with your family.
In my travels, I've debated cryogenics with Soviet hardliners in a Cold War bunker, recovered human remains from an active outhouse, lumberjacked in the forests of northeastern Romania, talked a mafioso out of killing my friend, been beaten on the barricades in Dublin, worked with a serial killer to find and exhume victims, and eaten fried offal and brains after a day in the mines in Pontypridd, Wales.
